Takedown Requests

At ColoringBookFun.com, we have proudly offered over 25,000 free printable coloring pages for kids (and adults!) since 1996. We are committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of creators, artists, and rights holders while providing a safe, enjoyable, and educational resource for families, teachers, and everyone who loves coloring.

We take claims of intellectual property infringement seriously and follow this policy to handle notifications promptly and fairly.

1. Our Commitment to Intellectual Property

While we make every reasonable effort to ensure that the coloring pages and content on our site do not infringe third-party intellectual property rights, unintentional issues can occur in a large collection of free resources. If you believe any content on ColoringBookFun.com infringes your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights (“Violation Material”), please notify us using the process below.

“Intellectual Property Rights” include copyrights, trademarks, design rights, and other similar rights worldwide.

2. How to Submit a Takedown Notification (DMCA/Copyright Claim)

If you are the owner (or authorized representative) of copyrighted material that appears on our site without permission, send a written notification to:

Email: [email protected]

Your notification must include:

  1. Your Contact Information
    • Full legal name
    • Email address
    • Mailing address (optional but helpful)
    • Phone number (optional)
  2. Description of Your Original Work
    • A clear description of the copyrighted work you own or represent.
    • A link or reference to where the original work can be viewed online (if available).
  3. Location of the Alleged Infringing Content
  4. Statement of Good Faith “I have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”
  5. Statement of Accuracy “The information in this notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.”
  6. Your Signature
    • An electronic or physical signature (typing your full name at the end of the email counts as an electronic signature).

We will acknowledge receipt of valid notifications within 7 business days.

3. What Happens After We Receive Your Notification

  • We will review your claim promptly to assess its validity.
  • If the notification appears complete and credible, we will remove or disable access to the alleged infringing content while we investigate further.
  • We may contact the uploader or source (if applicable) to gather more information.
  • We will notify you of our initial decision and, where appropriate, discuss next steps or resolution.

Possible outcomes include:

  • The content remains if no infringement is found.
  • The content is permanently removed.
  • The content is replaced or modified to resolve the issue.
  • In some cases, we may seek a license or other agreement.

We aim to resolve matters quickly and amicably. If a dispute cannot be settled and leads to legal action, the content will remain removed pending resolution through the appropriate legal channels.

4. Counter-Notification (If Your Content Was Removed)

If you believe content you provided or own was removed in error or due to misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to [email protected] including:

  • Your full name and contact information.
  • The URL(s) of the removed content.
  • A statement like: “I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.”
  • Your electronic signature (typed name).

We will forward valid counter-notices to the original claimant and may restore the content after the required waiting period unless we receive notice of legal action.

5. Other Content Removal Requests

For concerns beyond copyright/IP (e.g., privacy issues, inappropriate content for our family audience, inaccurate information, or your own artwork posted without credit/permission), email us at [email protected] with details.

We review all requests case-by-case and respond as quickly as possible. While we cannot guarantee every removal, we take feedback seriously to keep our site safe and appropriate.

6. A Note on Responsible Use

Please submit takedown requests only if you genuinely believe there is infringement and you have the rights to make the claim. False or misleading notices may result in legal consequences.

We are dedicated to continuous improvement—learning from every request to strengthen our content review processes and better support artists, educators, families, and our community.

Thank you for helping us maintain a respectful and creative space.
